Our beloved Office Manager, Cari Kitchens, has now been with Northern Neck Land Conservancy for five whole years! We are so thankful for her spunky energy and witty sense of humor. We want to say, thank you! ✨
Henrico couple Carole and Welford Taylor recently donated two building lots near Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club to Northern Neck Land Conservancy. 🏡
“The land is there, and your options are open. Make informed decisions before growth gets there,” said Welford, speaking about the Land Conservancy`s mission. “...As much as you can hold on to it, and teach its values, the better off you are.”
Usually, Northern Neck Land Conservancy helps private landowners secure conservation protections on their property. In this case, the lots weren`t suitable for a conservation easement, but can still make a huge impact on the organization`s ability to preserve the rural heritage of the Northern Neck and Essex County. All proceeds from the sale of the lots will support the growing organization as it preserves more land each year.
"We are most grateful!" said Executive Director Lisa Biever
To read more about the Taylor`s and their generous gift, or to view the listing of these two lots, visit the linktree in our bio!
