Cheers to Five Years, Drew! 🥳
Drew Gladwell has now been with Northern Neck Land Conservancy for five years as Stewardship Director (and our stellar office DJ 💿🎶)! During his time here, he has worked with land owners all over our region and overseen the conservation easement process for the protection of approximately 3,098 acres. Here`s to many more years and many more acres! ✨
We appreciate you, Drew! 🌟

Congratulations are in order! ✨
Christine and Michael Downing received the Helen and Tayloe Murphy Conservation Champion Award at Boots and Barbecue earlier this month. Members of the Downing family originally placed 96 acres into easement in 2017. Since then, Michael and Christine have protected an additional 918 acres across three other easements, bringing their total to 1,014 acres. This makes them the first single family to conserve more than 1,000 acres with the Northern Neck Land Conservancy!
Visit our website using the linktree in our bio to read more about the great conservation work the Downings have done and to sign up for our E-Newsletter Ear to the Ground.
