Please join us in celebrating the too-short life of Northern Neck Land Conservancy board member Zach Hatcher and his beloved partner Chris Kucera. Zach and Chris passed away unexpectedly in July.

Zach joined the Northern Neck Land Conservancy board in January 2023 and served on the Fund Development and Audit and Finance committees. He served previously as Senior Director of Development at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
Zach had recently accepted the role of Executive Director of the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region where he hoped his passion for conservation would be a valuable contribution.
Zach and Chris are mourned by many friends and family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
